RW 347 / RW 347SI Stainless Welding Wire: Niobium-Bearing Austenitic Stainless Welding Wires
RW 347 / RW 347SI is used for AISI 347, AISI 321 and similar Cr-Ni stainless steels containing niobium, titanium or tantalum.
Niobium Addition Reduces chromium carbide precipitation risk at grain boundaries and supports intergranular corrosion resistance.
Lower Silicon Level RW 347 helps reduce hot-cracking sensitivity.
Silicon Addition RW 347SI is the version for stainless steels containing niobium, titanium or tantalum and operating up to 400°C.
