RW 2209 is an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel for welding, used to weld duplex stainless steels. It targets high pitting, intergranular, and stress-corrosion resistance in chloride and hydrogen sulfide environments. It produces balanced duplex weld metal with approximately 50 FN according to WRC-92.
