RW 310 is a heat-resistant stainless steel for welding containing approximately 25% Cr and 20% Ni. Its high chromium content provides good corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Its fully austenitic structure requires attention to hot-cracking sensitivity. Operation above 1000 °C is not recommended. Applications include industrial furnaces, annealing chambers, molten-salt plants, boiler components, and heat exchangers.
