RW 347 series is a stainless steel series for welding, used for AISI 347, AISI 321, and similar Cr-Ni stainless steels. Niobium reduces grain-boundary chromium carbide precipitation and supports intergranular corrosion resistance. RW 347's lower silicon level helps reduce hot-cracking sensitivity. RW 347Si serves niobium-, titanium-, or tantalum-containing stainless steels operating up to 400 °C.
