RW 4122 - Nr.1.4122
RW 4122 - Nr.1.4122 Stainless Welding Wire: 17% Cr Welding Wire for Hardfacing and Overlay
RW 4122 is a 17% chromium (Cr) stainless welding wire used for weld overlay and hardfacing applications.
Compatible Materials Used for welding and overlaying matching or similar 17% Cr stainless steels as well as cast steels.
Valve Sealing Surfaces Used for sealing-surface overlays on steam and gas valves made from cast steel, non-alloy steel, or low-alloy steel.
Temperature and Resistance Designed for temperatures up to 450°C and combines very good corrosion resistance with high hardness.
Machining and Hardness The weld overlay build-up can be machined with ordinary cutting tools, ground, and tempered; achieved hardness is about 45 HRC.
