RW 4122 Stainless Steel for Welding

RW 4122 is a 17% Cr stainless steel for welding, used to weld or overlay similar stainless and cast steels. It overlays sealing surfaces on cast, non-alloy, or low-alloy steel steam and gas valves. It combines high hardness with strong corrosion resistance up to 450 °C. The deposit can be conventionally machined, ground, and tempered. It reaches approximately 45 HRC.
