RW 410 series is a stainless steel series for welding, used to weld martensitic or ferritic-martensitic stainless steels. RW 410 welds similar metals and gives overlays corrosion, erosion, and wear resistance. RW 410NiMo suits 410, 410S, and 405-type stainless steels in hydro-turbine applications. Preheating and post-weld heat treatment may be required for adequate ductility. Post-weld heat treatment for RW 410NiMo must not exceed 620 °C.
