RW 316 series is a stainless steel series for welding, used for AISI 316/316L and similar molybdenum-alloyed stainless steels. It targets higher corrosion resistance than the 308L group. RW 316L and RW 316LAWS reduce grain-boundary chromium carbide precipitation through low carbon levels. They can also weld stainless steels containing niobium or titanium. RW 316LSi improves arc stability, fluidity, penetration, and bead appearance.
