RW 420 series is a martensitic stainless steel series for welding, containing 13% Cr. RW 420 welds similar martensitic stainless steels and produces hard surfaces. RW 420C is the higher-carbon version of RW 420. Overlay and thermal-spray applications target wear resistance.
