RW 309 series is a stainless steel series for welding. They join stainless steels to carbon steels and other dissimilar materials. RW 309L supports corrosion resistance through its low carbon level. RW 309LSi improves fluidity, penetration, and bead appearance. RW 309Si suits heat-resistant steels and oxidizing gases, producing weld metal with approximately 8% ferrite. RW 309LMo targets improved pitting resistance in chloride environments through its molybdenum addition.
