Stainless ribbed bar (rebar) is a concrete reinforcement steel, supplied in bar and wire forms and produced in common stainless steel grades. This stainless product is developed for use in aggressive environments. While traditional carbon steel loses its structural durability over time, ribbed stainless steel maintains its structure in corrosive conditions. It prevents the corrosion process triggered by atmospheric carbonation or chloride penetration into the concrete. This product is widely used in constructional projects like bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and seaports. The application method is the same as standard ribbed rebar. However, ensuring that the stainless steel surface does not contact contaminated equipment during installation is highly advised.
