RW 312 - Nr.1.4337
RW 312 Stainless Welding Wire: High-Ferrite Welding Wire for Dissimilar Metals
RW 312 is preferred for dissimilar metal joints such as carbon steel to stainless steel.
Cracking Resistance The high-ferrite weld metal improves resistance to hot cracking.
Austenite-Ferrite Balance It helps maintain a dual-phase microstructure in applications with high nickel dilution.
Limitation Not recommended above 300°C or for components requiring post-weld heat treatment.
